Project Overview

Popotes is a modern Parisian café and canteen targeting upscale clientele, with a business model built around selling franchising licenses to open new locations with guaranteed returns. I joined the project to take over an existing codebase, extend the platform with new business-critical features, and ensure stable deployment across environments — supporting the company's growth and franchise expansion strategy.

Our Approach

We inherited an existing Symfony/React Native stack and focused on stability first, then feature delivery. The priority was to digitize and automate key business workflows — moving order management and delivery fully online to reduce manual operations and support scaling across multiple franchise locations. Performance optimization and reliable deployment on Vercel and Heroku were central to ensuring a seamless experience for both staff and customers.
